      ... tour. The Cathedral was large but did not have the presence of some of the older ones we have seen in Italy or even in the UK.
      Then we grabbed a quick cookie and walked down to the nearest Subway station to get back to the hotel.
      We freshened up and then went out for our last evening meal in New York. Ruth and I had New York steak and New York Cheese cake; JJ had chicken in tomato and cheese sauce.

      ... the arch in Washington Square Park. These areas are really trendy and much less touristy, and they do have a village feel to them. Sunday is the gay pride parade here so everywhere is decorated with rainbow flags - it should be fun watching the parade on Sunday! We have a lot to fit in tomorrow so we'll be up early again to make the most of our short stay here! Check out today's photos too. ...

      Slower start this morning and then Rob & I hit the big smoke! Caught the PATH and subway up to Grand Central Station - what an impressive building it is! Lots of marble, big, and very clean. There is even an Apple store in there too - must have been 50 plus staff and very busy!
