    ... decided to leave our luggage in the States and travel empty-handed: ONE: We filled up to carts with luggage that just barely impeded my eye site and tried to gently wheel them to the tram system, which JFK conveniently has from the rental car place to the terminals.     There is a reassuring emphasis on the role and dedication of the unfortunate responders who while performing their roles lost there lives.
    Not wishing to detract from the fact of the number of civilians who lost their lives, but my reasons for being there was to pay my respect to those we have an affinity with, the first responders.
