... hikes are in 12 different parks that stretch the length of the state (not that Delaware is very long.....and even less wide). Of course I will be completing all fifteen trails :) Thought it would be a great way to get to know my new home state.
Killens Pond is the park closest to "Base Camp" - only about 20 minutes away.
G&R was a nice campground in the woods. This campground was only about 20 minutes from Dover. This made for a good home base while we looked for a place to live. God found us a great place on Dover Air Force Base housing. A very nice two bedroom two story four-plex. Our house would not be available for about three weeks so after four day at G&R we moved over to the Delaware Seashore State Park and would stay there for two weeks. ...
This morning we had a few hours to kill before picking up the rental car, so we decided to check out the neighborhood around the hotel. The latest is that they have 3 more flights going out tomorrow night to Germany and they have us all checked in for one of those so the adventure continues.
