    Visited with my lovely Sri Lankan friends - the whole family was home and Samantha ( college student coming off weird hours for exam prep) even got up to greet me. And Dylan and Ryan so 'grown up' now. Sanjiv and Nyanja ( sp?/ my apologies ) both looking well and no older despite the 8-9 yr. passed!!! And good for Sanjiv finally finished with his chemo and now to enjoy a well deserved remission. Such brave souls that face these cancer battles - I've always admired their strength ...

    ... on Davis - neither of these 2 Union Troops knew of the other and unfortunately after trading "friendly fire" two soldiers from Michigan were shot and killed and one from Wisconsin. (Coincidently the soldier from Wisconsin was named John Hines (my dad's brother was named John Hynes)! A relative? Not sure.

    ... to our overnight stop, with a trip to Longhorn Steakhouse part way! After we dumped the bags we took a trip to Walmart, Trev bought himself an American Football and I bought nothing!- saving myself for the premium outlets tomorrow!!!
