... which was really pretty, although slow. Some of roads we drove through in Ohio were major roads, yet passed through cute neighbors with lovely towns and homes and we passed Amish communities. Of course, only ever seeing this in movies, I had a long conversation with Jonathan as he was telling me all about Amish people and their lifestyles. The traffic was getting held up at one point because an Amish man was on his horse and cart. Awesome. I ...

We have learned a great deal about rugby and Gaelic football!!! It is insane here when it comes to these sports.

Today is the all Ireland final between rivals Kerry and Dublin. There are over 82000 people at Croke Park and thousands more in the streets and pubs. It is essentially their Super bowl and we are thrilled to be here for ...

... we called Derek to let him know we would be at Polaris soon. He beat us there and was sitting at the bar when we arrived. For supper I got shepherd's pie, Derek had fish and chips and Larry got the pot roast. Derek came to the house for a while and we watched Rick Steves Scotland and then an episode of Vicious - classic British humor with Ian McKellan and Derek Jacobi. Derek went home and we went to bed.

... all day. However it seems Rosie had had enough apple and wanted to get back to her rhino friends. We waved goodbye to her and went to find something to wipe all the rhino slobber off our hands!

On a real high now - an experience we will never forget - we went to our last stop with Stephanie; the Discovery Aquarium. Our next guide was waiting and we slipped through a small door - into a different world. We were shown the kitchen where all the food gets made up ...

... after the beautiful rhino we met at the zoo. Very fitting really.

John & Maryline have been absolutely fabulous hosts. They have welcomed us into their home, fed us, entertained us and all in all made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. We have been bowled over by their kindness. We hope one day they will come to England and let us return their wonderful hospitality (and we are dying to get John to Go Ape).

Thank you John & Maryline - Cheers!
