Scheduled for departure on 8/8/14 and this time we're off to Prague to begin our first visit to the more eastern reaches of Europe.
Hopefully, I'll have a little more time to share our explorations with you here. For now, it's time to dive into packing!
The other week I venture off on a 'spare of the moment' shopping adventure. Well actually, the purpose was to got to the IRS but that proved unsuccessful, so hence in my head I will claim it as a shopping trip.

... then enlisted his help pushing out - much easier with a second set of adult hands.
We manned up, started and taxied out without any delays. We taxied in front of the crowd at show center as me made our way for takeoff on Runway 36. After just a brief moment at the hold short, we took off, then circled to the east.
Once clear of Oshkosh, we started a climb, ultimately reaching 13,500' as we headed southeast, crossing ...
... road, dotted line (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 – eyes cross again), trucks (oh geeeeez, more road kill), (look up) clouds. I’ve been able to make out clouds in the form of a duck, an angel and Chester Cheetah (perhaps a brain pattern correlated directly to my cheesy breakfast) – surprising and yet somewhat exciting. Never know what’s going to happen next…..
... Expect to have to go inside to play for gas in Canada.
- all of the ferries I rode on provided tie-down straps. This was contra to the blogs I had read saying they get made if you don't bring your own. Your experience may differ.
