... Missouri River" while I'm away. ...rivers can't sense sarcasm, right? Just last year the river rose over 30 feet, filling Cooper's store with over 18 inches of muddy water.
Anyways, really hope that doesn't end up being foreshadowing. Our plane leaves on August 4. Starting to really feel the prelude to adventure!
... so worried about the cosmetics of it but really wanted it to be in functioning. Pat and Judy are on their way to pick up the RV and then Pat is headed to Big O Tires to check and doubled-check the condition of all the tires as well as replacing the one that blew and keeping the spare for the next time.
So we're back on schedule and will be leaving Columbia in the morning and heading to Grand Island NE. Stay tuned for more adventures!
... and qualifies for "Jerk of the Year". The serviceman who actually examined the damage and did the estimate was a much kinder person. He saw that most of the damage was cosmetic and only a small amount is mechanical. The first guy said he was so busy he wouldn't be able to get to it until September as he had 17 jobs ahead of ours and would we be bringing it in when it was our turn! WHAT? REALLY?
The bottom line is the RV is at Camping World. ...
... to reach Marcus because he is very good at finding great places on the internet...but, he may be en route to LA...missed him anyway. Anyway...it didn't look full of promising possibilities. The folks looked very unhappy on the streets. The next place I pulled over looked interesting...but, I didn't see anyplace to eat. I asked a man stopped next to me at the red light in a heating and cooling truck...probably eats ...

Leaving the dorm with the crazy lady with the zimmer frame who made horrendous noises in the night was a happy moment. Walking down the road to collect our car we noticed the long queue, 1 hour 30minutes later Emma began driving her first automatic car on the other side of the road.
