Stopping for the night in Columbia Missouri after taking a picture of Beetle Bailey. I remember reading Beetle Bailey in the funny pages every day. We had a great day taking the back roads instead of I-70. Saw tons of barns and great houses along the ...
... hours. Of singing Annie songs, continuously. We settled into our hotel and dinner time and I took the girls swimming while Carrie went out and picked up some southern barbecue - yum! It was a long day but fun with lots of laughter and songs! I wish I had videoed Phoebe singing "Little Girls" she does a mean Ms. Hannagian. 4:30 PM - Crossed the Missouri River & into Missouri and through Kansas City where we hit some 'rush hour' traffic - but nothing too bad.
6:22 PM - Arrive Columbia, Missouri & check into La Quinta motel.
Just over 12 1/2 hours on the road but didn't seem too bad. Good weather, no road construction.
Dinner across the street at an Applebee's.
Beautiful sunset in Missouri!
