    Howdy y'all! Big news (well, relatively, because today was mostly a driving day). We got rid of "baldy," our treadless Mazda 5, and switched into a Toyota Corolla.     ... as it was located next to a huge empty lot off a side street. I’m sure they get plenty of business now from the show, and today looked to be very busy. Last stop on our tour was Saul’s office, which was the biggest letdown of all. The area in the stripmall where his office should have been was a nightclub.     High on my bucket was (and I say was) Taos. Poor Tom drove about nine hours, some of them in a raging rain storm. Taos was a bust. We immediately headed for Santa Fe.
    The ride, however to Taos was nothing short of spectacular. The landscapes were like paintings. We traveled through sage brush fields and majestic mountains. We miss so much of this beautiful country when we travel by plane.
