... with visitors on the hot Sunday afternoon. Also lots of boats out on the water. We climbed a fairly steep grade west away from the lake up into the Cache National Forest, then followed the river down the canyon to Logan. This canyon is a true gem in the backwoods of Utah. Stopped in Logan for lunch, then headed on to connect back to I-15, south to I-84, then back north toward ...

We traveled out of Cody along a mountain river and headed to the mountains of Yellowstone. The weather was great as we rode through the southern portion of the park. From Yellowstone we traveled directly into the Tetons. As we looked at the sky over the Tetons we saw rolling dark clouds shedding rain. Soon after leaving the Teton park, we crossed into Idaho and the rains suddenly poured hail and rain. ...

... to be a cliff jumpers paradise, Vineyard Secret Lake was a top contender. Again we turn off of i84 for a 5 mile detour. With broad direction from a friend we drove the Penske truck and trailer down this dirt road to an abandoned gravel and dirt surplus area. Over the hillside was a makeshift trail head that seem to lead to more empty farm land. After a ...
