Left Rawlins on a 95 degree day. Way to hot. Western Wyoming doesn't have much to offer in terms of scenery.

Things picked up as we got into Utah. Took a back road between I-80 and I-15/I-84 that took us along the shores of Big Bear Lake, then through the Cache National Forest along the Big Bear River into Logan, UT. The lake was clearly a popular recreational lake as its shores ...

We're also lucky to have seen a herd of Antelope when we travelled through Idaho. Staying the night in Declo ID, RV park along the Snake ...

On the plus side we discovered cruise control today - omigod it's like you aren't even driving the car! Our next car ...

... painfully and slowly riding the highway until came upon a gas station. We pulled in (along with other bikers) to wait out most of the storm. It was still sprinkling when continued on our way.

We eventually found sunshine as we got onto a freeway leading to I-86 (towards Burley). Suddenly we were hit with 80 mph winds that nearly blew our bikes off the road. Some us were riding the road ...
