enjoyed a park on its banks. There was a very nice Veterans Memorial park as
part of the park beside the river.

We continued East leaving Kennewick on Wednesday and stopped
in Caldwell, ID. This area has Caldwell, Meridian, and Boise all in a long row!
We really enjoyed finding our favorite comfort places to eat – Chick fil A and
Menchies. These were just what ...

... with visitors on the hot Sunday afternoon. Also lots of boats out on the water. We climbed a fairly steep grade west away from the lake up into the Cache National Forest, then followed the river down the canyon to Logan. This canyon is a true gem in the backwoods of Utah. Stopped in Logan for lunch, then headed on to connect back to I-15, south to I-84, then back north toward ...

Left Pendleton OR this morning to a beautiful sunrise, traveling into Idaho. Some nice scenery starting out then miles of Alfalfa & Hayfields, and throughout the state if their we're fields with crops they are all irrigated. Seeing cattle farms as well. We're also lucky to have seen a herd of Antelope when we travelled through Idaho. Staying the night in Declo ID, RV park along the Snake ...

... going to be an automatic with cruise control - although doubt we will ever get to use that on the M25 but about 550 miles was done today without even touching the accelerator! Stopped at a motel in Burley, Idaho for the evening when we were tired of driving and were happy to discover it had a swimming pool. We went for a refreshing swim and Pete was even happier to discover we had a bath - his first since we left the ...

... a 45 degree angle. Hail and heavy rains assaulted us for about 20 min. After the storm passed, the winds continued to be brutal. Once we got onto I-86 the winds died down and the landscape gradually shaped into desert. By the time we got to Burley, we were once again exhausted! A short time in the pool followed by showers and time to hit the sack. We are leaving for Bend tomorrow morning by 7am sharp!
