This hotel was under renovation in the lobby area. Our room should have been renovated too. We had stayed here before and liked it but not this time. The time of day simply stopped from moving on down the road.

... the 8:30 am choir practice early to present cards and gifts of appreciation from everyone to the choir director, his wife, and the choir pianist. Some of the choir members were absent, but the director was anxious to begin, so I just went ahead. Then back to our room to freshen up for morning services. The choir sang "Faithful Servant" for special music, and we had excellent messages from David Hadley and Frank Dunkle. The first message was ...

... I am surprised that none of the hymns sung at the Feast have been, or will be, "Seek Ye First" on page 100 of our hymnal. I will either request it tonight or offer to play it if I feel brave. Heidi is going to offer to play some hymns also; she can play just about any hymn in our hymnal if she can practice it a bit first. The Hymn-Sing will be followed by a dessert reception - Yum!

It certainly is more blessed to give than to receive. Although I did keep a very nice necklace that will go with a pink dress I have here at the Feast, and with other outfits. I have also been saving up chocolate candy to take home and gradually enjoy after the Feast. (Each ...

He is such an interesting and friendly guy. The meal we had was wonderful: green beans, mashed potatoes, beef & chicken, bread roll, & best of all, a delicious slice of cake witha lemony filling. We fellowshipped for a long time, and I also met a guy fromToronto, Tony deSanto, who was in ...

We left our house just before 9 am on the Sabbath (26th) and drove to the Knoxville UCG congregation. It was easy to find the location, a high quality conference center with various different rooms, often apparently used for weddings, etc. Mr. Stan Martin, the pastor, was already in Jekyll Island, since he coordinates the Feast there this year.

Lacy & Frances Mayes were there, and later, Barbara & Madalene arrived. They had already ...
