This hotel was under renovation in the lobby area. Our room should have been renovated too. We had stayed here before and liked it but not this time. The time of day simply stopped from moving on down the road.

We left home at 7:30 after getting gas and had a great drive on snow free highways until we reached our destination. It threatened snow in several spots but never materialized.

We stopped at the Duty Free (unusual for us) and bought some booze and cologne for Richard. When we crossed the border the Customs agent told us he thought we were …

Today, we drove five states: MO, IL, IN, KY, and OH. Leaves are not really turning color until we ...

We had been hearing for months that we would want to spend two days at the Creation Museum, so after bidding a fond farewell to Barb Sims, Night Flyer, Ronnie, and all of Cornerstone Farm, we packed up and headed back to Petersburg, KY for round two at the Museum. We dubbed this Adventure Day.

    Eric needed little persuading ...

    Today was the day.

The reason we traveled this direction.

The impetus for our whole vacation.

Today was the day of our trip to the Creation Museum. This meant breakfast in our car and a 60 mile trip north on Interstate 75.

We reached the gates just minutes before they opened at 10am, and before we received our guest passes (Thanks, Pastor Wade and Michele!), our senses were on overload. We took ...
