As I went through downtown El Reno I was anticipating one of the best stretches of road on the whole journey but was not ready for the sight that greeted me as I reached the top of the hill just past Fort Reno. Miles of almost straight concrete road met my eyes. ...

... d been killing crickets all evening. He said that all of Oklahoma was having his problem. Well I went into the lobby and there were crickets on the walls and these crickets flew. They very nicely gave us a discount for the inconvenience and would give us some bug spray if we encountered any in our room. Thankfully there were none in there, and you can be sure I examined every inch thoroughly. I googled Oklahoma cricket infestation 2013 and saw some of the pictures and it ...

... seen far in the distance. We all remarked that this would be a great vantage point to see a good storm. And it was. For hours we watched the sky light up all around us . No rain, just a beautiful light show. At this point Hunter got the bright idea to go online and look at the Doppler Radar for the area. What he saw was down right terrifying. We were surrounded by huge storms in almost every direction. Severe weather warnings were being posted and apparently ...
