          September 8th – day 127

Excitement levels were at an all time
high when we headed out of the RV park before the sun had finished
rising. We went via Walmart to buy snacks for the next few days and
then got to Universal early enough to find a park and get to the
gates by the time they open at 9am. This was a good thing as the RV
area is the furthest place to park at Universal, about a mile walk to
          the entrance ...

... the humidity rating, but it was 96 degrees. Too hot for these Oregonians. We still had a great day--we saw a parade, rode Small World and Thunder Mountain. We enjoyed shows at the Tikki Tikki room (with the obligatory Dole Whip), Mickeys Philharmonic and the Country Bear Jamboree. Keeping with the old people theme we returned to our room for a break. We will wait for it to cool down a bit and go back this ...

... when we got back to the RV. We decided to take it easy this morning (friday) and get on the way to crystal river so we could explore a bit today. Only a two some hour drive today headed in the right direction. So far we haven't hit anything (except a really stupid bird in the keys) and there have been no fires. The crew is pretty efficient at set up and take down, and we can usually be "road ready" in about 10-15 minutes. Manatees here we come!!!! Roll ...

... and, bypassing Canada (sorry Canada, but we've just spent a month in the actual Canada!), on to the United Kingdom section of World Showcase. No, it wasn't because we were missing home, but because Mary Poppins was doing a meet and greet and she was just about to finish. We caught her just in time, but Anna didn't want to bother in the end because of how disappointing she looked! I'm not a Mary Poppins fan myself (more Sherry Bobbins), but Anna was gutted with how she was ...

... following me round like I was going to give him something or something, but reached the Ruta De Flores, which far exceeded my expectations – then again how can a 7 Waterfall Tour and a Gastronomical Festival be bad? Went to El Impossible national park which was actually impossible to reach the first time, but was worth it as jumped down about 9 waterfalls and swam through a canyon from the top layer, right to the base – the walk back up was slightly less ...
