Houston, we're not Kennedy Space Center

Our main reason for being in Houston was to visit the Johnson Space Center (JSC). We arrived at 10am and got a spot right by the entrance, because there were not many people there. We immediately jumped on the site tour. First stop was the actual ground control center used for the 60s to 80s rocket launches. The current ground control center is one floor down. Another drive today, this time to Seabrook which is 20 minutes south of Houston. It was a 4 hour drive and we were surprised by the amount of greenery and trees around during the drive. Waffles, pancakes, eggs, bacon! It was delicious, and ...

It's exponential, and when you check in the Hilton, they welcome you and nothing is a problem and its easy with ID and a credit card. They don't say anything and just hand you your room keys and smile. Enjoy your stay Mr Betts. In a small hotel all hell breaks loose and their entire ...

    ... all the best.
From there we went straight to Cypress Trail Rides. We had given the kids the choice of travelling to another US State or doing more horse riding - this was their choice - no complaints from us of course!
They had a two hour trail ride along a river and through the forest in the Cypress area and I stayed on the ranch and spent time in the sun - lovely. Here's some pictures of the kids on the horses - Sam on Magic, Jo on Kidstar, ...
