    ... per year. The stockyards was an organized place where cattle, sheep, and hogs could be bought, sold and slaughtered. A great history lesson.

    We did some shopping and at 4:00, one of the two daily cattle drive demonstrations took place in which cowboys on horseback lead a small herd of longhorn cattle through the main street. It was a great experience. A couple pictures are included for you to see.
