    ... bison were mooing occasionally, just like cows. After looking at the bison we drive to a nearby mini golf course. The golf holes were absolutely huge! Also several of the holes were multi level. You would start at the top level and if you got the ball into the side holes the ball would move down to the middle level, but if you got it into the middle hole the ball would go straight to the bottom level.     10/1 Day 102 We are still camped at Texan RV Ranch and went sightseeing in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We started out going to Dealey Plaza this was the site where John Kennedy was shot. We decided to not go into the museum but to see some more of Fort Worth. We got hung up in accident traffic on our way from Dallas to FW so it took quite a while to make the trip.

    ... even saw a brahma bull ranch – we wondered if they were for rodeo bull riding; I have never seen or heard of them in any other context.

    At one point we stopped to use our camper bathroom and Peg let Tex out as well. He went out, found a few blades of grass for a piddle; and acted like his feet were burning up and he wanted back in the truck. So much for his being a Texan.

    ... I now think I may be a pro at boarding and and getting off a plane. We were now on route to Vegas baby!!! Fort Worth was a good little stop, there wasn't too much to see and it was extremely hot and humid. But at least I got to see the Stockyards. The next destination would be about 37 degrees but it would be dry heat instead of humid. I was very excited at this prospect. Bye bye humidity! I never want to meet you again... Till Japan ...

    ... all red brick buildings surrounding us with, it was rather peaceful! :) we are at hoffbrau steakhouse, I had a salad with grilled chicken - very yummy! :) We picked up some leaflets and found a rodeo outside of Dallas in Fort Worth so we googled mapped our path and headed for that this evening.
