We then drove around a bit and I happened to see a few bison through the fence line, so we stopped to look at them. There were a few baby bison that basically looked like calves, and one big guy walked right up to the fence line to stare at us. Whenever we moved the bison's eyes ...

10/1 Day 102 We are still camped at Texan RV Ranch and went sightseeing in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We started out going to Dealey Plaza this was the site where John Kennedy was shot. Oh well, toward the end of my wait I got a call from Alyssa to review the mail that had been piling up.

... on the corner of Main St. We then wandered along the street past the arena where Jamie barrel races, and over towards Habaneros and Riscky's BBQ. Unfortunately, Habaneros was no longer serving dinner (at 8:30pm??) and Riscky's enclosed patio is not dog friendly. So we headed back to the Sheraton and sat with the pups on the patio of the hotel restaurant, had some dinner and a night ...

... Ranch owners and cattle movers still come to auction cattle and the cowboys still visit to compete in the rodeos and enjoy a night in town. During the day we wondered the streets, checking out the boot shops and clothing stores, I purchased a nice shirt. We peeped our heads in to see the auction. Tourists lined the street at 4.00pm to see a bunch of Texas Long Horns and cattlemen on their horses go down the street. Some farmers would even have a Long horn ...
