It may come as no surprise that the day started more slowly than normal, with the excesses of New Years' Eve still evident as we all rose for the day. A brisk walk in sub-zero temperatures to The Publican restaurant got the blood pumping in readiness for brunch. Sarah & Max went for Bloody Marys with beer chasers as a possible hangover cure, while others took a less alcoholic approach by ordering fresh grapefruit juice. They also have an extensive collection of Egyptian artifacts used, to good effect, to explain all about their burial customs ... hence the picture of the wall from one of the entry chambers of the above ground portion of a Mastaba.

... and presents later we were back on our way. The scenery between our hotel and the Disney store is quite amazing though. Lots of building, no two the same, which even includes a giant Trump Tower on the river. Will definitely be going back with the camera tomorrow.
