After shortening my drive some last night I hit the road today for a full day of driving. Crossing a few states I had never been in before I made the decision to lengthen my route slightly and avoid driving through Indianapolis. I stopped in Vincennes, Indiana for the night leaving myself an easy 4.5 hour drive the next day.

... which was pretty amazing. That night we burnt the plastic again, although the size of the Gnocchi I had was enormous (surprise) so it served for the 2 of us the following night as well. The gas wouldn't be fixed till Thursday and although we were offered someplace else to stay, the hassle of it all was a bit too much so decided to man up and face a cold shower. ... plans for exploring the city after the game were shot, so we wrestled our way back onto the tube and headed for Gino's East (The original Chicago pizza restaurant). Alas the queue for this place was round the block, with over a 2 hour wait time we decided instead to eat at our old friend Tim O'Tool's.
