    ... passing all the shops, we crossed the Chicago River and came to a building that houses both the Chicago Water Works and a tourist information center where we got a map and used the bathroom. Maggie and I remained to work in parallel with the contractors - packing clothes into cardboard 'wardrobes', answering questions and generally keeping an eye on things. As rooms were emptied, we then moved in to vacuum and clean - it became apparent very quickly where Rambo liked to hide as those areas were very fluffy!     ... we found a Nestlé Toll House Cafe, and I had to have a choc chip cookie. It was beautiful. Terry had a slab of frosted brownie, which he seemed to enjoy immensely. I bought Ma a Christmas present, but she will have to wait till July to get it.

    So a lot has happened since my last update back in NYC. I might even keep updating this entry as I read into my diary and remember more that happened.
