Her parents have disowned her which is disgusting. We felt really sorry for her, but it did get well awkward when she continued with a pity party. We were relieved to be back in bed to get some sleep. It was now after midnight and, after a disappointing night, just wanted to hit the hay. Tomorrow: Costa ...

... 40 minutes. The first three hours did indeed take three hours. It was the last hour, the last 74 kilometres, that stretched to 2 hours and 40 minutes. Traffic: at times I was doing 90 mph in the fast lane and times I was at a full stop. ... Mitch might throw up :-) We went through the park to the first ride the boys were going on and Jordan decided to go on it too!! It actually pulls you up the incline and drops you over the first edge facing backwards... WTF to that!! Poor Jordy!! But he handled it well, although he said he wouldn't go on that one again today!! The boys then headed over to Tatsu, another roller coaster using their Flash Pass. It's an electronic device that clips on to ...

          A Challenging Day just Travelling

... when the girl first looked up our booking. I actually suspect that United were trying to refund our money but the bank wouldn't accept it because of the number change and that we did in fact have a "paid for" ticket and they didn't want the responsibility to find us new flights. In the end we just gave up (to pursue later) and went to Air Canada and bought two new tickets to LA, so again, an airline stuff-up has doubled our flight cost. Only lucky thing ...
