... and giving me the best surprise ever. Yes, she came all the way fom Aachen, Germany to Virginia to spent some time together with her two daugthers. That was really, really cute. So over the 1. week we would shop, chat and drink wine and just enjoy of being together. For Easter (My Mom went back already to Germany) I would meet Tyler's (fiance) whole family: really, really nice people who welcomed me very cordially ...

The ensemble acting doesn't take hold until the second act and the actors' accents can be hard to understand. It might be good to "wiki" this before you attend so that you can get a grip on the many characters and byzantine plot. Nancy Robinette is charmingly funny as the "superannuated" Malapropism-plagued Lady Wishfort.
Washington DC, District of Columbia, United States bucksmom... we'd love it if you'd keep us in your prayers while we're gone. We won't have health insurance during our travels, so we need to stay healthy and injury-free. Also, even though Scooter and I generally don't fight that often, we will be together the entire time so we'll both need patience and understanding. Please leave us encouraging comments! We'd love to hear from you while we're gone. I know we'll miss everyone in Virginia.
Fairfax, Virginia, United States scooterandlauraAfter an early start (4:30am) we got to the nation's capital around 11 and got a bus to the edge of the Metro. Thanks to an entertaining station manager we got two day passes and headed for downtown DC where we got off a couple of 'blocks' from where we were staying. After a trek up the street in silly hot, muggy heat we made it and headed straight for the shower. To make use of our tube ticket we took a trip down towards the White House and took a ...

Washington, District of Columbia, United States kbort... and went to a pool hall which was pretty awesome, it was like a stereotypical teen hangout, a lot of the counsellors were drinking but I was quite hyper from the excessive amounts of icecream so Charity and I stuck Meatloaf on the jukebox and had a dance around the pool tables, it was so much fun, we almost felt normal! My bunk have been trying to test me the last couple of days, one especially is being very argumentative, I'm concerned ...
Harrison, Maine, United States jordancpWell I arrived after 16 hours of travellling. Don't use British Airways, there incompetent!(generalisation I know) Imagine my dismay when after many delays I arrive at baggage reclaim to be discover (eventually) that my luggage was still in Manchester. So plans change very quickly. Now I have to stay in the hotel until my luggage arrives. (I have no fixed address with the RV so I can't move!) Not ...
Newark, New Jersey, United States barratt... One more taekwondo story: There is a 48 year old woman who started taekwondo a few years ago, and she's almost a black belt. She kind of took me under her wing right away. She would coach me during the class and offer me encouragement. There was one day when I got a particularly intense pep talk. She took me aside and said, "It's okay if you can't get the kicks right the first time. It's okay if you feel awkward. It's okay if you get really sore and can't do all the ...

It was on the morning of the day it rained all day so it didn't really interfere with the guys activities. Cathy and Rose never forgave us for this. Anyway, we went on a dive in a pass off the island with a divemaster named Lulu. We all fell in love with her the first time she spoke to us in what she thought was English, but with that sexy French accent. The dive was very exciting as ...
Cleveland, Ohio, United States tahitibobcatSo, apparently the natives of the land of virgins, aka Virginians, feel very strongly about the differences between the northerners and southerners, within their own state! The northerners were quite dismissive of their southern brethren. I believe the term 'hick' may have been used. And don't get them started about those in the southwest of the state! Fairfax VA is a suburban horror.
