Set off to get to our next destination and close another circle. John O'Groats to Land's End.
First went to The Lizard, the most southerly point in mainland England and less well known. Old life boat station from the 1800s and spectacular cliffs.

Then to Land's End, the most westerly point on the UK mainland, to close another circle. ...

I ...

A fantastic week with Rod and Jude. Great to catch up with Mike and Barbara and Maesy. The weather was great considering the time of the year albeit misty in the mornings. We had a couple of exhilarating sessions body boarding and a lovely walk from Zennor back to St Ives although can't say I liked the cows!! Journey back to Bristol was good and it was lovely to see Mr. Crofts in Porth just outside ...

all in all I had a great time in Portugal and I couldn’t have wished for a better start of my seven moth trip. Which is just my trip for the coming weeks.
