... hotel at 9 to give ourselves plenty of time to get to Kings Cross and find out where we need to go. Carrying our luggage from the hotel to Pimlico station was a lot harder then I thought it would be. We finally made it to Pimlico and caught the tube to Kings Cross with plenty of time to spare, so we sat down to rest our legs at Pret and I had a coffee. Hi, a few days late I fear.
Got up at 6am packed bags & got taxi to airport. Place was full as they do flights around Everest before the scheduled ones, but fog stopped them all. Luckily they cancelled the mountain flights and my plane took off at 10.30 (rather than 9).
