The following weekend Avery and I met up with some of her classmates to stop by the 41st annual Steel City Beer and Cider Festival at the nearby Kelham Island Museum. (Note: Sheffield used to be a huge steel manufacturer and most of it was produced in Kelham Island). There was even a live band (of the brass and horns variety) that played the Jurassic Park theme song. Weird, but awesome.

Oh, it was good to back home with Wayne and Di - a home away from home - I love the conversation here - they are both very well informed and are happy to share what they know with me :-)
I spent a few days recovering, watching the Rugby World Cup FINAL (YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) with Wayne and Di's family, who were all dressed in All Black jerseys!
... We ran into Maureen twice while walking around the shopping area.
We did find the items we were wanted, along with a few used books from the charity shop and custard tarts from Teale's bakery - something Paul misses almost as much as fish and chips and pork pies.
Back at the house, we took care of some chores for Barbara and then Brian came by and we had a tea break. Its nice ...
