    ... are out by the thousands, eating, drinking, smoking and connecting with their neighbors. Such a vital time at night. But with our long day we decided to just go out from 7:30 - 10:30pm then head back to our hotel and into bed. Chris' pedometer marked we walked 11 kilometers today. And now my feet feel like it. So happy to be here. Special thanks to Cliff and Sandy who gave a condensed version of Rome....as we are going to Florence ...

    ... picked up our bags and walked to the railway station. Here we asked at the information desk about trains to the airport, and got a sarcastic old guy who told us platforms 5&6. Formally beginning the saga of trying to get to the airport. We bought our tickets then made our way to platforms 5&6. There was no mention of trains to the airport on any of the screens so I asked around. There was another guy going to the airport but he didn't know ...

    Unfortunately we had to drop off our rental car at Terminal 2 and then get to Terminal 1 where the Air Canada check-in was. Frankfurt is a massive airport and trying to maneuver all of our luggage and the bike box up and down a total of 4 different elevators and the little passenger train between the terminals made it seem even larger.
