We called in at the Viking Museum but got there before it opened, then discovered you could actually walk around a large part of it outside, jetties etc & see all kinds of reconstructed boats without paying anything. It was scary seeing what they went out in the north sea in, they must have been tough cookies.

Football aside the cycling here has yet again been fantastic. The ride we done here was about 40km which zig zagged across the German / Denmark border. ... several languages. (English is one of the them). Then you can take a 45 to 60 minute walk down the path to where the actual Viking village was. They have uncovered the buildings and reconstructed them using the same proportions and material they found in the excavations. This is just really neat to see...Along the way you can see some pretty sheep too.
