As the clocks had gone back and we'd gone to bed by midnight we were up and on the road by 9:30am, all attired in our Viking TShirts we headed to Denmark!

The plan for the day was lunch in Sonderborg, where Neil used to go sailing and then on to Kiel for the night.

We crossed into Denmark and panicked when we saw a toll sign, we hadn't bothered getting any Kroner ! Luckily we avoided the toll ...

Drove to Flensburg and had a lovely day at this charming port town. A great shopping area with lots of churches. Weather was great that day but rained a bit the next morning. We hung around and checked out the local scenery that day and then loaded our bikes on a bus the next morning and headed to a town called Marstal. Lovely community on the water with beautiful ...

Up early this morning to catch the train back to the airport to pickup the rental car. We ended up with a Renault Clio with lots of bells and whistles including navigation but only for Germany. I have my GPS with so will set it up for tomorrow. My data plan also starts tomorrow so should have data access for both Denmark and Sweden and can then use Google maps. I will have to see if I can get a card adaptor for my GPS Garmin data. Perhaps it might work with the in ...
