... it was called Langos and its amazing!!!!! Its a huge deep fried pitta bread thing with loads of sour cream and cheese melted on top of it ! So simple... so good .. and cheap!!!!!!! After all that food we headed into the great plain of Hungary and its national park which is huge. Lots of nice little villages think they were abit shocked to see a British campervan passing through!! Time to head back to Budapest for tallys final check ...
... it’s not a beach. It’s fenced off area next to the lake, where they have dumped a bit of sand, but mainly it’s grass and trees with a children’s playground, and a few fast food joints! I stayed at the beach for an hour or so, reading my book, and I realised that I didn’t hear a single word of English – everyone was Hungarian or German.
After a shower it was time for another lonely dinner, the downside ...
... even fit in a visit to our cousin Marta, who was kind enough to take us for coffee during her break from her office . We went back to the hotel for a powerhouse packing session. We tried to divide up the balsamic vinegars, olive oils , parmasen cheese, cookbooks, and various gift items up so that each suitcase was only 23 kg. each, what a job!!! Later Laci picked us up for dinner and we feasted on fresh ...
