... nice discount on a certain ferry. We went to that ferry and they told us that starting tomorrow the ferry would be out of service for 10 days. What rotten luck. We do have a plan B for the ferry but we have to wait until tomorrow to get tickets. Talk about last minute planning.

... into Helsinki went well and I love how Finnair have a camera on the bottom and front of the plane so you can look on the TVs throughout the flight. Angus walked into the terminal and we got him into a chair. Emma did not go to well with the landing and is suffering quite a bit with the pressure on her ears. She should start feel a bit better in around an hour I would say but then we take off and land again and this can often make it twice as bad. I am a little worried for her. ...

5:30am was when my alarm went off. Regardless of how early a person goes to bed, there is no amount of sleep that can be had that counts as 'enough' before getting up at this sort of time. As time goes by I find it harder and harder to believe that I used to get up at 4:00am, six days a week and ride half an hour into work to shove trash through people's letterboxes.

... to the bus station which gets us back to the airport. We have a couple of hours to kill but it's good to sit and rest.
