... she said if you know pizza, gelataria, and vino you are set. We got to visit her and have a drink at the nice restaurant where she works and join her with some of her friends during their lunch break in their study day. A perfect visit to Bonn I just wish we could have spent more time there! ... complimentary happy hour and breakfast, but it didn't happen. We crossed the bridge into town to grocery shop, but the Hyatt concierge, Amir, sadly sent us on about a 5 km hike to the grocery store business office headquarters rather than the actual store. Not to be outdone, the Marriott concierge sent us to a Turkish food store and we did our best to get food for a picnic the next day in the middle Rhine Valley.
