... these elephants get rotated as it must be such hard work for them as we were trekking up and down dirt tracks. The heat was terrible and I felt bad for these elephants. They stopped continuously for a drink in the creek and occasionally squirted us. We stopped at a platform and were encouraged to purchase for 100 baht ($4) a bunch of bananas that were obviously encouragement for the poor animals to keep going. The ride ...

Anyway I got the brush and shoo'd it out so all is well. Stephen seems to be attracted to the camp dogs which sit at his feet waiting to go walking. He ignores them or says go away but they don't speak English. Lunch at Golden Buddha where we downloaded hundreds of emails most of which were rubbish. Tried to update my ...

... guest including quite a few New Zealanders, Aussies and some local Thai people. At 11 some hilux utes arrive to take us out to the party. The track to the party is crazy, getting there was an experience in itself! We are just lucky we got to go with one of the best drivers that knew the track like the back of his hand. The party itself wasn't quite our scene but was so interesting to see and the location was awesome! It was a fascinating night but probably not a party I would go back ...
