... spoken cast members get up on stage and give it their all :) We heard German poem readings, saw Japanese dances, and cheered on American tap dancers. Each culture was represented and it was great to see and to celebrate. And, for all of you Salem Lutheran members reading, the Scandinavian group performed a skit featuring Santa Lucia! I thought of home immediately and how much fun I always had at that event at Salem :)

This was my first day of the mission trip. From what I remember, it was mostly worship and hanging out for the night and getting ready for our assignments for the week. Since I don't remember much from it, I won't go into to daily detail. Every day though I went to a boys and girls club and hung out with kids all day. It was an amazing experience and helped fuel me to go on more mission trips.
