As much as I like travelling, I have really enjoyed staying at home, and so now I'm really not ready to go back to Spain. I am happy though about a trip to Barbados that I am pretty sure that I am taking in June or July after I leave Spain. What I want to do is spend a week or two in Europe, in one or two other countries in Europe while my visa ...
Frankfort, Kentucky, United States morada2007It feels nice to be home for Christmas break. I got to fly home first class, because my original flight was cancelled, and I asked that they put me on the flight to Newark. It ended up being first class, and it was wonderful! They kept feeding me, and I got to watch my own little television screen, and they gave me a travel kit. I definitely wan...

Today I leave for Dublin! My flight leaves Cincinnati Airport at 3:15 and I have a connection in Newark. Hopefully the weather is good and I can make it over to Dublin without a hitch.
I have a ton of things packed. Does that surprise any of you? In total, I've filled up two suitcases (each 50 pounds) as well as a big carryon and backpac...

Its 5 hrs and 32 mins until its wheels up and we are on our way to the "Emerald Isle". Honestly I am more excited and anxious about this trip t...

We took off with the fifth wheel up to Lexington, KY, where we would see some champion horses at Juddmonte Farms. That evening, when we got in to Lexington, we checked in at the RV park at the Kentucky Horse Park. It's quite a nice area. Then we went and ate at Bob's Big Boy, where Ashley had (what else??) a bacon cheeseburger! ;-)
On Sat...

I stepped in because of the ice cream cone painted on the window and thought I was transported through time.
Today, I drove from Louisville to Lexington to have lunch with a friend. The horse ranches around the area are gorgeous -- clearly gentlemen ranchers, not true farmers. I saw lots of men in camouflage, so I decide NOT to walk in the woods, lest I be mistaken for a deer. At one point, driving along the Interstate, I spot a large, dead animal on t...
Lexington, Kentucky, United States ahartryI rented a Yamaha TTR 250 in Feb. 2003 from Joe & Tom's Goodwill Motorcycle shop in CM. I rented from them again, mainly because they're reliable & would come rescue me if I ever had major mechanical problems I couldn't fix & both adorable men. I passed on the Yamaha & took the Honda 250. My male friend in US whom never been out of the country, ...
