I dropped him off at Dulles airport yesterday and did my usual thing of legging it as quick as I could. I don't like airports. You always have to say goodbye to people that you don't want to have to say goodbye to.

Anyway, his stay has been brilliant and it's flown by. I think that's a good thing. We've had lots of beers, booze and brewskies and the odd bit of food here and there too ...

today was a day of visiting museums, first the Stax museum. The stax was a studio which recorded in the 50s - 60s, Issac Hayes recorded Shaft and Otis Redding recorded On the Dock of the Bay. ... to the RV Park, we headed back to have lunch in the Castle, and regain some energy to enable us to take a shuttle bus into town, to visit Memphis downtown and the Sun recording studio where Elvis cut his first record and had his first recording contract.
