TBC - Long night ahead!

Pt 2:-
Just had the stop over in NYC. No time to get the T-shirt I wanted, but had Wendy's for the 1st time since hitting USA. OK but won't go back if a DD or In 'N' Out in sight! Much warmer here....was 34 on the board outside the bus stop.

PT 3:-
Made it to Boston by 02:00 and then cabbed it to the hotel. I jsut told the driver to take me to the Garden and thats where we pulled up. Seen the sign and the hotel was right ...

... is our last day here. Went to Harvard and MIT this morning to soak in some of those intellectual rays. To be honest, Harvard was a little anti-climactic - sure it's a big campus, but it's just lots of old buildings! The significance wore off quite quickly, same with MIT. But a big thanks to James who showed me a little bit of the 'behind the scenes' stuff in the computer science department!

We leave for New Zealand a week from today. Everything Buzz needs is neatly packed in a rolling duffel bag. Every summer garment I own is piled on the bed in the guest room as I try to decide what to take and what to leave! I need outfits, he just needs clothes! We have our camera, ipod, computer, gps ...

loved the flight, and the hospitality of the BA business class experience. I even had a facial as I though it would be done by a dolly. Then some big gay guy came out to 'facial' me. I was petrified. I have to say that he did a really good job though!!

I REALLY made the most of the free champagne and wine on the flight too. Legs were a bit wobbly on my return to the good old US and A!

... a tad tacky, and the beer isn't cheap, but it has to be done. We did get a tip from the barman for where to watch the Superbowl though, so that saved us the effort.

out of it (just kidding, mom). The last winery had a goat farm, and
there was cheese paired with each of the wines. Also, because there
aren't the tax laws and such, the most expensive bottles of wine at
these places was about $20, the average being R19-R80 ($2.50-$11),
which was probably the best part. What a wonderful place South Africa ...
