... and we sat there for several hours drinking cocktails and champagne. At one point Thomas had gone to the loo and on his way back was so immersed in looking at the view that he didn’t concentrate on the steps he was walking down and fell flat on his face right in front of us. We bought a Big Bus tour which included an uptown tour, a downtown tour, a night tour, mostly downtown but also out to Brooklyn and a cruise out to the Statue of Liberty all for $60 each. We also asked about ...

... a shortish walk to Wall St and the Wall St Bull, then onto little Italy for cannoli and gelato, By this point we were exhausted from hours and hours of walking. It was 7pm and we were nowhere near our hotel! So we began the long treck back, stopped by the supermarket for eggs and toast and all went to bed at 9pm. On an aside, today was the day that Sammy abandoned his dream of being a postie, an has his heart set on being a police man ...
