I am officially on my way to New York City (currently over Michigan!) and the trip is going well so far. The seat next to me on the plane is open, which always a bonus, AND our travel agent gave me a little upgrade which never hurts J

I am still at home. Only one more week. Being away from my home for three weeks requires a lot of preparation. I even know the movie that are going to have on the Flight. I am tired already!! Since I will be on a plane for almost 24 hours, I am collecting all the necessary stuff needed to be comfortable.

... where we also did for the next three days. The night was spent talking, laughing and catching up on old times and seeing Sach's collection of personal photographs. We did not realize that we had gone into the wee hours of the morning until we retired.

We awoke to a beautiful Sunday morning and headed to the airport to drop Chris off to fly down to Ft. Lauderdale for a shoot. He's doing a video for the cruise lines to promote their high end jewelry. It's also a great opportunity to see his friend John and his Dad while he's there for a couple days! Well, here I am, home again. I ended up being stuck in Houston for a night because of all the delays, but I got to stay in a ridiculously nice hotel. ... a 20-some-hour weekend road trip 'cross the American Heartland isn't an adventure?
