ANMC Gift Store
First checked out the gift shop and display cases in Alaska Native Medical Center. The displays around ANMC and gift store have one of a kind, beautiful, museum-quality collections of native art. See display of shamans channeling various animal spirits craved in walrus ivory.
Rainy & grey skies today. Went walking around downtown area. First to tourist information center 4th & F street at historic log cabin. Didn't opt to take the trolley tour from here as we had already walked around quite a bit while trying to find the log cabin.

We came up with a short list and just headed into downtown ...
How has this hotel rated in the past?
As expected of Extended Stay establishments. Had a suite with full kitchen and space for a little living room. Free towels and toiletteries, cable TV, onsite laundry services, computer center with a working printer, and fitness room. Free shuttle to airport and railway station at all times. Good for the money.
