    ... exact, of the many celebrities who have visited it. The owner, Russell Hiatt had been cutting hair there for 62 years, since the late 1940s. It was here that Andy Griffith actually got his haircuts. Unfortunately, Russell is in failing health at age 91, but the last post on Facebook seems to indicate he is still alive and kicking.

    ... that I had completely forgotten about! I think I took my time in Korea for granted. I cannot wait to go back and visit and I know I will. But, now I have to focus on getting ready for Germany. I will live there for a much longer time (6+ months)! Hopefully I'm ready for everything I'm going to face there, but I'm sure that even if I'm not I'll work my way through it.

    But..I guess my question is, where am I heading now? New place, new dreams, new goals..what's next?

    We said our hellos upon arrival and I got the place set up. We hadn't seen either Alan or Maggie for a few years so it was a nice reunion. Spontaneously, Cheryl had bought a roasted chicken along with watermelon and chips so we were able to have lunch under the trees.

    Hello from Winston Salem, North Carolina. Well, we have finally begun our journey west and are now on the road towards home. We said goodbye to the Outer Banks, or OBX as they are sometimes referred to around these parts. For the first time in quite a while we won't be near any oceans.
