    ... done) movie and decided an hour was about enough time at Steamtown. I will say I enjoyed reading about the history of the Lackawanna train company. We've learned a lot about history on this trip actually. I think it's interesting how a lot of businesses and towns got their starts. But, we still had George's photo shoot.

    ... guides were in kayaks leading, following and mixing with the rafts to help as needed.

    It was a great trip - a three hour drive from home to the Whitewater Adventure Center, 13 miles on the river, and 3 more hours on the road home. .....I was dead! ......but thanks to sunscreen, not too burnt :)

    ... and lived to tell about it. The whackadoodle trying to get her bike on the subway, forcing two people to move, and oblivious to the inconvenience she was causing must be mentioned. We could barely contain ourselves when the subway door kept slamming the back tire and slamming back open. Kudos to the gentleman who helped the oblivious one get squared away!     ... veterinarian works out of his home, with no computer in sight and old school file cabinets. It's where people still write checks at the grocery store and say hello even though they don't know who the you are :) We're both road weary and right now are planning to base here for a few months. I'm enjoying the peacefulness of the woods, trying to sneak up on chipmunks and even the freaking bird that sounds like a dying pac man arcade game. Hope all is well with everyone. Bye for now ...
