... It wasn't as good as home, but it was exactly what I needed! Perfect road trip food! A few more hours on the road, and we made it into Wichita, Kansas. When we left Houston, it's was sunny and 95 degrees. In Wichita, it's night and 59 degrees. Looks like I'm going to bust out the jeans tomorrow! We will have about six more hours to Denver before we meet up with another high school classmate for a weekend of Broncos ...
... to be in good repair. The park we stayed in last night was excellent. There are "rails to trails" walking areas, a very nice municipal swimming pool, several historic exhibits and very nice green lawns. Last night was a good stay. Carol O., we really enjoyed visiting the town that you spent a lot of time in while growing up in this area.

We spent some "quality time" this evening at a Dillon food store - a chain which is owned by Kroger. Other than that, we didn't do a whole lot, as it was late afternoon before we arrived and got set up. All in all, not much to report!
