Andy was most pleased that his mission today was complete, by driving thru 3 states: Missouri, Kansas & Oklahoma.l Checking in on wifi at last, found a lovely post on our blog from Joellyn - "We are all still very delighted you stopped in at Johnny G's and though brief, shared a lasting moment in time with us on your awesome trip. Seventy-two degrees at 6:00 this morning...didn't bode well for the home-team! By the time we pulled out of camp at 9:00 it was up to 82...and it never looked back, clocking in at 95 when we stopped for the evening at 4:30! At any rate, we did have a beautiful day with blue skies (at least until we ran into smog near Tulsa) and very much enjoyed our drive.

They spent all day with these students, practicing their language, sharing life experiences, learning Chinese pairing and calligraphy, and becoming friends. The highlight was being invited to spend the evening with the family while they prepared a feast for their American guests. The hospitality of the Chinese ...
