    California Aqueduct is a system of canals and pipelines that directs water collected from the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the fields. We drive by miles & miles of crops throughout the valley.

    UT: The long and boiling road

    ... to drive through the Mohave Desert. It was really hot, up to 112. The kids are excited to go home, so all our stops are quick. Sean is talking about how excited he is to start Kindergarten again. We didn't have any luck finding Delaware and West Virgina, so we ended up with 48. We make good time, and make it home just after 7pm.
