    ... no cross country road trip would be complete without seeing the "Gateway to the West"! On our way, we saw signs for the worlds largest golf tee and also the worlds largest wind chime...although we were tempted to stop and see these most intriguing attractions, we had a long drive ahead of us, so we stayed on the highway. Another interesting thing that happened is that we crossed over our first time zone...not sure exactly where, but it was somewhere in SE Illinois....wish ...

    New assignment for transition team is St Louis Missouri. I flew out last night and spent the night with Meranda who is the CSL here. We went out to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings and went back to her house , relaxed and played with their cat and dog. Next month I will be here for the transition of the station. After asking at a couple of gas stations, we managed to follow the accurate directions of a guy and we found I-44 and then the Best Western Kirkwood Inn.
