This morning was a little rough, I woke up with a severe head cold. I think too much partying is the problem. I allowed my body to get severely run down and that has resulted in my demise. However it might be a blessing in disguise. It has forced us to lay low and save a bit of money which is good. We head out of Seattle and down to Portland in a couple days which seems a little more low key ...

We headed back to the ship around 12.30 and had lunch, while we were having lunch I spied a Bald Eagle gliding over the cliff facing us, it was a wonderful sight but of course I did not have my camera. After lunch we went to Exploration Cafe for a coffee before heading back to our cabin to rest as we were buggered. We sailed out of Kodiak around 3pm and began heading towards Dutch Harbour. Later we went up to the Crows Nest for our usual drink before dinner. ...
... coffee and chinos from a competitor, but we wanted good coffee. A quick walk through Pike Market as stalls were closing up and then walked along the waterfront for a seafood meal over looking Elliott Bay.
Seattle has a small city feel, it's easy to get around on foot, has great looking coffee shops and restaurants and is putting on great weather.

... So I walked back to the lightrail station, because above it was the monorail station to take me to the bast of the Space Needle.
So I arrived, took a few photos, then headed up with my prepaid ticket. The elevator ride was relatively short, but with a great view as we ascended along the outside of the Space Needle.

... France, Switzerland, Italy (including Vatican City,) England, Boston, and maybe we'll add a final entry about our return to Seattle.
