Wanted to head to Mt Ranier, but the weather really never cooperated and you could not see the peak through the clouds. I did get a good pic of "the mountain" on my way to Vegas from the air.

As we left Portland and Oregon to go north to Seattle the rain carried on for the whole three hours and at times was very heavy traffic was also busy. The Roosevelt in Seattle is very central. After checking in we had a quick dinner at the Daily Grill. What a day for eating.
We wanted to do some more touristy stuff in Seattle so headed to the Space Needle which is kind of like centrepoint tower in Sydney but must be said the views are better with the snowcapped mountains in the distance. Man it was cold up there tho with the wind and a big cold front coming through, well worth it though you can see from some of the shots.
