Carol, my roommate for the trip, and I left for the airport at 10:30 pm Wednesday night for a 1:00 am flight to Taiwan. We met my client/friend, Beth at the airport. We had a 12hour 50 minute flight to Taipei. Beth sat next to me so she was good company but it was a very long flight! I have never had dinner at 2:30 am before! On the way back to collect the car we popped into the Westlake Mall. Just outside of the mall was a cool little communal area with table tennis, foosball and chess for everyone to get involved with. There were loads of people out playing and socialising. A nice little touch.

There was snow covering it and frozen streams and ponds all around it plus crazy tall ravines.
