    Carol, my roommate for the trip, and I left for the airport at 10:30 pm Wednesday night for a 1:00 am flight to Taiwan. We met my client/friend, Beth at the airport. We had a 12hour 50 minute flight to Taipei. Beth sat next to me so she was good company but it was a very long flight! I have never had dinner at 2:30 am before!     ... viewpoint and we just loved the city. Very modern and clean.

    On the way back to collect the car we popped into the Westlake Mall. Just outside of the mall was a cool little communal area with table tennis, foosball and chess for everyone to get involved with. There were loads of people out playing and socialising. A nice little touch.

    ... and to Vancouver Island. Once we arrived at home we moved the final items into the coach. During the week Tony had done most of the preparation of loading groceries and food (of course only the type we could cross the border with—no produce and no meat). Once loaded we said goodbye to Liz and Leo, loaded the pups and headed about just around 11:30 AM.

    ... it was Mt. St. Helen haha, but since Mt. Rainier is in the Cascade Mountain range....it was amazing to fly by because from an aerial view you can really see how massive it is. There was snow covering it and frozen streams and ponds all around it plus crazy tall ravines. Seattle is absolutely beautiful even though I'm only in the airport, I hope to come back here and visit one ...
