    Carol, my roommate for the trip, and I left for the airport at 10:30 pm Wednesday night for a 1:00 am flight to Taiwan. We met my client/friend, Beth at the airport.     ... the very few things we didn’t pack were easily acquired along the way.

  • Spending the money to buy a GPS and map updates for the countries we visited. Map performance and accuracy was near-flawless.
  • Paying extra money for the "Economy Comfort" class on the airplane. Seats are not any larger, but legroom and center seat elimination are great (so were the meals and drinks!).
