    We made it home late Thursday night/Friday morning at 1 AM. Stacey was a true road warrior and drove 625 miles from Browning, Montana on the east side of Glacier National Park all the way to our home in Bothell. It is of course nice to be home but I already miss being "on the road".

    The next step is to have the van reconfigured to my particular needs and then I need to start practicing driving with an instructor ...

    ... didn't smell like spilt beer from the night before. For the spread there were sliced oranges, toast, assorted cereals, coffee, and bananas. As far as hostel breakfasts go it wasn't bad. I had some toast and delicious fresh oranges but resigned to only drink coffee in Seattle at different coffee houses. I also did miss the famous Samesun muffins but the peanut butter for the toast filled the void. After a leisurely breakfast and some relaxing with a book is brought from home ...

    ... able to have lunch. We found the Marco Polo hotel where we stayed in 2008 and we surprised at how close we were but the shopping was very different. We spent the later part of the afternoon relaxing. We headed up to the 18th floor to have a few drinks and watch the night lights before retiring.     ... folks took great care of us with free booze - even in coach! - dinner and breakfast. Most of the flight staff was German, and I kept catching myself almost saying 'gracias' to them :P All my recent international trips have been to Mexico, so I'm a bit brainwashed - even got Nathan doing it a couple times too!

    The flight also had those nice touchscreens at each seat to watch movies or TV and listen to music. However, even more entertaining than ...

    ... people of the 20th century - granted they are both long dead but still didn’t stop those experiences being any less poignant to me, I took in all the things you should do as a tourist in Seattle like harbour tours, the Space Needle, Columbia Tower, the waterfront piers, Pike Place Market and a couple of museums.
