    Well, we woke to the sounds of sea lions (and a wet tent surrounded by sand). Not a good match! Brad let me know he will never camp within 20 miles of a coast again. Ashley and I walked the beach to the jetty following the sea lion noises. Unfortunately, they were on the other side where we could not see them.

    I had decided to book a tour on my first day in San Francisco and then leave things free and easy. It was a half-day tour called "The Ultimate Tour" - was really well done, informative guide, weather stayed good, some nice photo ops and left with ideas of what I wanted to return and see more of. Was picked up from another hotel in walking distance of mine and taken to Fisherman's wharf where the tour proper started. Went to Golden Gate Bridge then Golden Gate Park, up Twin Peaks ...

    ... chilly! Down by the water was freezing. I did get to eat some delish food, walk miles and miles of the city, and take a cruise on the bay. I met an awesome retired nurse on the cruise!
