        ... beach. It was a bit of a drive and traffic ready for the labour day weekend, but it was worth it. The waterfall is just hitting the sand in this little sheltered bay that has bright green water and waves crashing up against the rock.

        Later that night I had a chicken baked dinner and some local wine, courtesy of Cathie. Thanks for the birthday dinner! It was pretty amazing watching the fire and the sun set on the californian coast line

        After a slight lie in this morning we went to the local library to get a few Lonely Planet books on California and San Francisco. We put the frisbee to good use this afternoon at the park and then came back to make some homemade pizza for the cinema.         ... to the stadium after dinner and watched a great game of Ice Hockey. The Sharks (our team) vs the Anaheim Ducks. The sharks won 6-3 and it was a very interesting sport to watch. The players were slamming into each other and were so quick on the ice! The game consisted of three 20 minute quarters with an 18 minute break in between.
