    ... and quickly surveyed the mall. Plotting a route which avoided tollways, we made the short but winding trek to Janesville, WI. We arrived on schedule to the Kyukido Academy just in time to change and stretch before the 1:30 class. Head Master Holden's class was fun, challenging, and just the thing to work out our vacation kinks.     ... and Mrs. B. at the Colonial Cafe for our Ice Cream Theme: Scoops with the Masters. The ice cream was amazing and the conversation was just as stimulating. It was fun to talk Kyukido history, philosophy, and training with these two great minds.     As of last week I have been accepted to teach abroad in China for an entire year starting this February 2015 with CIEE (Council on International Education and Exchange)! I cannot wait to see what I can offer the other side of the world and vise versa :) I won't be updating my blog much before I leave, but will try to keep up to date once I start my adventure on the other side of the world. I will ideally being doing at least 2 entires a week...fingers crossed.

    ... some weight....actually gained.

    Ok, now for the all the help regarding the upcoming event " the wedding". Personal shower for Kaitlin, rehearsal dinner, hair and nails, decorating the reception hall just to add to the activities.

    ... at 7 central just in time for SYTYCD! We were pleasantly surprised by our Red Roof Inn which showcased plenty of outlets to charge our devices, laminate floors (no dirty hotel carpet here!), a microwave and fridge. While Andy settled in for some dancing TV, I ran down to the grocery for dinner. Schnuck's was a great find! Rotisserie chicken, cucumber ...
