    ... usual the bagels were difficult to cut, but were delicious. An interesting way of serving was that a big slab of cream cheese was put on one half of the bagel, then salmon was laid across the two bagel halves, so I had to dig under the salmon to get at the cream cheese (which I always put on first). Ron had a bottomless cup of coffee. All in all, a good start to the birthday.
