Today we went up to the top of Mt Hood to see the snow. Up at the top it was 45 degrees fahrenheit which is about 5 degrees celsius!!!!! We were up there for about 4 hours, we had snowball fights, made snowmans and snow angels. The Green Streets tour was a perfect way to get a full picture of this lovely city and see how its stormwater mitigations are really integrated into all neighborhoods and a seemingly integral part of the city. We ended the night with a picnic dinner with friends, in the Overlook neighborhood, overlooking the Columbia River—a great end to a solid study of a super sustainable city.
Yesterday seemed like a quick day. We disembarked from the cruise on our own...someone asked if we were sure that we can handle our luggage...we've been carrying it for 15 days straight, so we are pros at this point. We got a taxi to the train station. Nice thing about King Street Station...they have a whole seating area for people that need assistance. This might not see like anything special, but within 5 minutes of us ...
