... of overwhelming beauty and oxygen induced energetic minds and bodies. We saw some animals in the park as well. Sadly we didn't spot any brown bears :( despite me having glued my face to the window for the entire trip. Quick trivia....the term Teddy Bear derives its name from a visit by Thoerdore Roosevlet to the park many moons ago. He was sitting with some folk when they spotted a baby brown bear. The one dude got his riffle out ready for the kill, when Teddy (as ...

Walking back home over the hill we encountered a Hen's night on bikes. Given that most of the 'leisure' bike ...

It's a strange mixture of emotions. Fortunately I slept quite well last night and feel ready to tackle this journey (16 hours of traveling ahead). It's strange too, I don't know that anything has ever felt as right as all of this does. This makes me feel quite happy :-) I'm going to save my battery now... ...

      ... about lunch!

There is a planetarium here, and as Lavinia missed out last time, we let her get a ticket along with Miranda and William. George is not allowed in as he is too young, so I volunteer to look after him. The next show isn’t for awhile yet, so we go to the basement and check out the aquarium displays. Considering we have just recently been to the Monterey Aquarium, I’m not overly keen to spend too much time here. ...
