we'd been waiting for this since the day we first saw primanti's on man vs. food -- that whole pile-your-whole-meal-on-the-sandwich thing was intriguing! i'm sure i'm not the only one who stuffed potato chips into their sandwich when they were a kid, right?!? in this case, it's those incredible fries -- AND their (in)famous homemade slaw.

Our flight from Rome was uneventful. Can't say the same for the rest of the trip. As we mentioned previously, each leg of our airfare was booked separately. ... our deposit. The original trip booked was "The Best of Italy". But some in the group noticed online that there was another trip, "Splendors of Italy", with a similar itinerary for less money. So the first of many changes began. Our original flight path was Pittsburgh to New York then Rome. Someone noticed that we could save $300 by going from New York to Lisbon to Rome.
